I am 93 years old. Last November the cornea on my left eye ruptured, likely the result of shingles & treatment medication. It has been a traumatic. After the cornea replacement surgery I have not been able to return home to independent living & I will require eye drops for the rest of my life to keep the transplant cornea from being rejected.
Why is this important to me?
It is very difficult for me & others to self administer eye drop medication. Often I miss my eye with the medication or I hit my eye with the dropper. Delivering this eye drop medication is critical or I risk losing my eye. I want to return to living independently. A simple technology that helps me with eye drops might help enable me to return home. Thank you for all your help!
