Semi-submersible (narcotics carrying) vessels that transit in the ocean are not easily detected by ship or air radars and normally are only detected by visual sightings at close ranges. A technology to detect these vessel at greater distances is required for effective interdiction.

Sign language is not a universal language. A deaf person traveling across the globe may encounter communication barriers with the deaf in that region. An app that has the ability to detect the unfamiliar form of sign language and translate the unfamiliar form of sign language through a projection on the phone would bridge the gap to this barrier.
